Dropped off my car to get the windshield replaced, then ran home with a couple of extra loops.  No watch.  I wish they'd hurry up and post the course reroute for Logan Peak.  I'd at least like to have an idea of where I'm running before race day.

It makes it more of mystery.

By the way, I hear Aaron is talking trash, saying he's gonna whup you.

I think the map of the course is up now.

From Predog on Fri, Jun 24, 2011 at 11:55:32 from 24.10.142.244

It looks like they are just making the course into a couple of out and backs...one on each side of the Syncline trail. I was kind of hoping they'd head out on the jeep road towards Millville Canyon and Leetham Hollow, but oh well. And they are now requiring microspikes or ski poles. I hope I can at least run SOME of it. Otherwise it's gonna be a long hike.

Well I am glad that I decided not to come up and run it then, because it doesn't sound that great now.

From Predog on Fri, Jun 24, 2011 at 12:18:35 from 24.10.142.244

haha yeah. It will still be good, but I will be excited for next year to run the "real" course.

From Aaron Kennard on Fri, Jun 24, 2011 at 19:25:13 from 69.18.151.138

Well Holt, now you can be even more glad you didn't go since they shortened it to an 11 mile out and back up dry canyon.

Jon - I can't take any credit for trash talking. But now that you mention it, I think I will go ahead and teach joe a thing or two about how to bomb down dry canyon tomorrow.
