12 miler today. very humid and warm. felt very tired and lethargic but hopefully that's due to the weather and stuff. Quads are still sore from last weeks descent from Wheeler Peak.

10 miles today very slowly...quads are still very sore. Probably partly due to 12 yesterday, but I think that steep scramble down the mountain last week (in cowboy boots by the way :P) is still affecting me. Other than that felt much better than yesterday, though still not fabulous. Hopefully I will feel better still tomorrow and then feel really good for thursday.  It really sucks that I won't be able to go to Des News because I have to work on thursday.  I am very disappointed but perhaps that is best with the way my legs have been feeling this week.  And plus I don't want anything to get in the way of my mileage this week, though races haven't been a problem in the past for that.

8 miles slow and easy again...quads feel better and better but still pretty sore.  That tendon between my hammies and tibia on the medial side was bugging me again but I don't think it's too bad.  I'll be careful with it.

8 miles again today.  Feel much better and not so sore.  Moderate pace.  Tendon was fine mostly.   Felt good about today.

10 easy. It was HOT today. I felt like poo the whole time. I think I got kinda dehydrated too because one of my drink stops at a park in La Verkin had the water fountain shut off. Grrr. It made me so mad. Oh well. I got the miles in. Hope tomorry feels better.

Today was an excellent day for a change. Great finale to a less than desirable week. Hauled wood all day up on cedar mountain then came down and did some stuff with my friends so I didn't get to run until almost 10. But it was nice and cool and all the stars were out and I got a good pace in most of the way...especially towards the end I really got rollin. Bench Lake loop with some extensions 7 min mile average with some faster and some slower. This week has been kind of a downer, haven't felt good until today so it was nice to finish strong.  Got my goal for the week even though I felt like crap, which is a very positive thing for me.
