Big Workout #1

2 miles moderate warmup, grabbed a drink at First Dam, then took off for 10.25 miles at MP effort.  It was kind of rough, and I was bucking the wind for maybe a third of the tempo portion, but I made good time and better effort.  Cooled down for 2 miles at the end.  I was pooped.

Tempo: 1:02:25 (6:05/mi.) definitely sub-6:00 effort, but nasty wind during some key stretches slowed me considerably

Total time: 1:33:57 (6:35/mi.)

Be ready to go at 6:40 at first dam. You probably wont get this reminder because you are not a computer nerd and on it at 8:30 on a friday night. How lame would that be?

From Predog on Sat, Aug 07, 2010 at 03:04:03 from 24.10.140.186

Actually, people have recently started referring to me as a computer nerd since I converted to Linux. I mean, I always did know I was an engineering nerd, but I've only recently had people put the "computer" qualifier in front of it. And I am online at 12:54 AM, after a wild night of partying, so I did get this in time.

And thanks for the compliments everyone! Here's to even better workouts in the next few weeks.
